About
Rajender Kumar — known warmly to all as Raj — is a quietly remarkable figure in Dublin's community life. Appointed as a Peace Commissioner for Co. Dublin and Adjoining Areas by the Minister of State, Mr Niall Collins TD, Raj embodies the spirit of voluntary public service: present, dependable, and always ready to help without seeking recognition.
Raj arrived from New Delhi, India, over 26 years ago as a student. After completing his education here, he built a professional career across several industries before founding his own successful transportation business — all while remaining deeply connected to the communities around him.
In Swords, where Raj is a beloved figure, he is an active member of Swords Tidy Towns and numerous community drives. His warm, approachable nature has earned him the respect of the various communities across Dublin.
